Project Description Orange Avenue was a typical urban corridor long neglected by the city but with opportunities for
densification and beautification. Working with a strong merchants association, Martin & Vargas led a
community design charrette to create a cohesive vision and to define the program for streetscape
enhancements. Major challenges included design solutions for two 6 legged intersections as well as
parking solutions to allow mixed-use multi-story urban infill.
